Have you tried View|Toolbars?
You do know that the default is to have two toolbars on one row?

Cant find the Formatting Toolbar on my Spreadsheet. I am still learning
about
spreadsheets and am using XP now instead of 2000. I managed with 2000 but
things seem different on XP.
Can you help please.
