I'm working on finalizing a trouble ticket reporting system. With the help
of several individuals, I've just about got it taken care of. The final piece is to have the user click on a hyperlink which will open Outlook with the intended recipient listed. What I would like it to also do is to copy and paste the contents of a cell (G1) into the subject line field. (G1 is a culmination of several cells data being put together to form a trouble ticket number). - if, by some fluke, it would be possible to add text to the beginning of the subject line such as "Alert - New trouble ticket, number" and then add the ticket number from cell G1, that would just be gravy. :-) I've looked at the properities for an email hyperlink, found that you could add a subject line, but can not come up with the correct method of adding the cell's contents. |
