time in minutes and seconds and .00
I don't know how to format a cell so when I enter a number it is not in a
date format. I want the number to be displayed as minutes, seconds, and 2 decimals. Thanks in advance Adam |

Custom format as [m]:ss.00
Select the cell in question Goto the menu FormatCellsNumber tabCustom In the little box under "Type" enter: [m]:ss.00 OK out The [ ]'s keep the minutes from rolling over after 60 into hours. -- Biff Microsoft Excel MVP "adam11m" wrote in message ...
