Default Conditional sum

I would normally do a nested if staement to calculate this but it only works
on summing columns & not rows.
Does anyone now how I can over come this.
I need to summarise that Johns Holiday hours = 20.6 hours. (ie if hol then
hours per )?
Does this make sense?

Hours 4.0 8.3 8.3 8.3
