Default sumproduct and visible cells

Is there a way to make sumproduct or the new sumifs in Excel 2007 work only
with the visible cells in the specified range? I want to be able to sum the
data on a worksheet after applying a filter to the data range. I know
nothing of VBA and am relatively new to Excel.

Thanks,
Lee
