Converting GPS to Digital Geocode

Hi

some time ago, I GPS coded my local area with a Garmin hand held jobbie in
the following format: N52Â°45.274' and W002Â°55.363'

Because I want to embed a Google Map into a web page I have to use the above
code converted into digital format such as: 52.8349 and -2.8712.

Does anyone know of an Excel code that would convert stanbard GPS into
Digital?

Any help greatly appreciated.
