Default copy an entire row IF a statement is true

The first worksheet in my spreadsheet contains all of the data that I've
entered. I would like to create additional tabs that pull specific bits of
data out -- based upon inidivudal columns in the first spreadsheet (role
group, event name, etc.) Is there any easy way to do this?
