High guys, bit new to this Excel malarky so any help would be fantastic.
I am tring to set a score prediction leauge for our office. What I would like to do is this IF D3 & D4 (Home and away team prediction) MATCH C3 & C4 (Home and Away Team Actual Score) THEN ADD 4 POINTS TO I3. IF D3 OR D4 ARE GREATER THAN C3 OR C4 THEN ADD 1 POINT TO I3. So if the correct score is predicted then 4 points are awarded but if the HOME or AWAY win/draw is predicted but not corrct score then 1 point is awarded. About as clear as mud but any help would be really appreciated. |

Struggled understanding the rules for devising a formula but here goes:-
=IF(AND(D3=C3,D4=C4),4,IF(OR(C3<D3,C4<D4),1)) With regard to the 1 point bit you say:- IF D3 OR D4 ARE GREATER THAN C3 OR C4 THEN ADD 1 POINT TO I3 I've assumed you mean different too and not just greater than because otherwise there would be no rule to cover less-than.
