I have a spreadsheet that someone else created and that has a field called
CURBAL for current balance. This field shows the amount 18.6 instead of 18.60. I have tried changing the number in the formular bar but the minute I go to the next cell it changes back. I cannot find any formula and it appears the cell is GENERAL. How can I correct this. And how can I change the template file to keep this formatting. |

Format/Cells/Number, select Number and 2 decimals. Then save the template.

I did that and the amount shows in the spreadsheet as $18.60 but on the
formula bar a 18.6. When I import this spreadsheet into a word document this field appears 18.60 instead of $18.60. Kate "JMB" wrote: Format/Cells/Number, select Number and 2 decimals. JMB gave you the correct answer pertaining to your post since you didn't
mention currency, if you want currency format as currency in the same place you formatted as number. -- Regards, Peo Sjoblom "Kate" wrote in message ...
