Default Merge command not active

Thanks in advance.

In anticipation of having to merge a couple of worksheets later on, i
created two test worksheets, filling in only a few cells on each, but naming
the columns the same.

Under the tools menu, the "Compare and Merge Worksheets" command is greyed
out.

Any ideas?

Hi

That option is only available when trying to merge data from two separate Shared workbooks.
