I want to graph a power curve using excel's charts. I can't change the axis X
or Y to the range of data. That is I want my data to make the axis increments because I want to compare the two sets of data to plot the curve. Please help me. |

I really don't understand your question as you stated it, but have you
selected and X-Y scatter charter? Can you describe your data, the layout for the two series, what you are getting and what you want to see? ![]() First, thanks for looking at my post. I have seen charts of other curves in other web-sites but nothing on how to make one. I know how to change the scale, what I want to do is use a set of eleven numbers ranging from 0 - 2.25 (horsepower) on the x axis, on the y i have eleven numbers ranges fron 2450 - 2900 (RPM) everywhere these numbers cross i want to plot a dot and connect them with a curve. I because my assignment is due Wensday I'm trying to do it by hand which for me is still hard. But I would still like to know how to make one in the future. You put the data on a worksheet, then create the chart from there.
Put the 11 numbers from 0-2.25 in a column, say A1:A11. In B1:B11 put the corresponding values for the RPM. Then select A1:B11, then Insert/Chart, and follow the steps in the Wizard. You should select an X-Y scatter chart as the type. On Sat, 19 Feb 2005 21:05:07 -0800, "Blue" wrote: First, thanks for looking at my post.
