If you want a return *only* when K22 contains "QS",
*AND* when J74 is greater then zero,
Change the "OR" to "AND",

=IF(AND($J740,$K$22="QS"),$J74,0)

Hi gentlemen,

A result is returned regardless if K22 contains QS or not. Something is not
right about this formula!

I am not sure what the "Or" is doing here

The formula has been broken down, this is where the OR comes from.

I am not sure what the "Or" is doing here, but try this
=IF(OR($J740,$K$22="QS"),$J74,0)
