When I select "thousands separator" when fomatting numbers, the result
appears for example as 1,11,111.00 instead of 111,111.00. Please help. -- egt |

Someone has messed with your Excel setting to use Indian formatting.
Use Format | Style and in the Style Name box open Comma You should see _-* #,##0.00_-;-* #,##0.00_-;_-* "-"??_-;_-@_- If not then edit the style to correct it. best wishes -- Bernard V Liengme www.stfx.ca/people/bliengme remove caps from email "egt" wrote in message ...
