There are instructions here for adding the Generate GetPivotData button
to a toolbar, and toggling the feature on and off: http://www.contextures.com/xlPivot06.html When it's turned off, you will create a normal reference when you click on a cell in the pivot table. tom wrote: I have the same problem. It worked great in earlier Excel version but now 2003 has this anoying GETPIVOTTABLE function. Did you ever find a way to disable this? I can manually write the cell name such as =E7+E9....but want to create the formula by clicking in the cell without automatically getting the getpivottable funtion. Is it possible to disable this function? I use the get pivot table function quite frequently and successfuly but in this instance don't want it. -- Debra Dalgleish Contextures http://www.contextures.com/tiptech.html |
