Nested If statements returning a sum calculation
At this point I am using this formula to return a dollar amount.
=If(a4="income",e4)+if(a5="income",e5)...excel will only let me put in 25 but I need at least 50 of these statements. I am trying to create a running balance sheet that updates my monthly budget. however, when my input passes row 25 then nothing gets calculated. I need a formula that will say: if "INCOME" is chosen from a list then return the amount of the credit. Then add all "INCoME" credits in the chart. I tried Countif also, but it only returned how many "INCOME" are in the column. |
