Default Excel If calculations

I need to add an If statement to look for a value in one column and then
count the number of dates in another column. The date column has a number of
duplicate values which it needs to count as only one per day.

Hi Robin

not sure where the "value in one column" comes into it - but Chip Pearson
has notes on counting unique entries at
http://www.cpearson.com/excel/duplicat.htm

Hope this helps
Cheers
