Is there a way to break out of a Find and Replace procedure that is looking
for a link that it cannot find. I had an instance where I did find all and noted that there were 388 cells that included what I asked to be replaced. Then I made the mistake of clicking Replace All and found that I had set a loop going where the system was looking for a non-existent link and I could not break out of and had to hit return in respect each instance Is there a way of braking out of that? I don't know of a way to break out of this, but there is a way to avoid it
that I use. After filling out the "find what" and "replace with" boxes, check "find next" and "replace" two or three times to see if it's working correctly. Only then do I click "replace all." Thanks Richard,
I was wondering if anyone knew if there was another way. I all too often forget to a trial replace before setting the replace all "Ron McCormick" wrote: Is there a way to break out of a Find and Replace procedure that is looking for a link that it cannot find.
