My problem is: I have a number of two rows. For example think one row has the data of student i.d. and another row has the grade they achieved in the exam. What I need to know is there any equation in excel which will help me to copy the data of row 1 & 2 according to the students i.d.? Please please please let me know the equarion? Will it be an IF THEN equation? |

It is possible if the student ID is in a fixed column, say column A. See
Excel Help for AutoFilter. You can hide all rows except those of the student of interest and then do a copy. http://www.contextures.com/xlautofilter01.html -- Gary''s Student - gsnu200713 "sadat" wrote: Hello, My problem is: I have a number of two rows.
