Default How to hide and secure ranges in worksheet

To mainatin confidentiality of some data, may want to allow reader to read
certain range or cells but not all, is there a way to hide AND secure
ragnes/cells from reader?

Default How to hide and secure ranges in worksheet

What i usually do is "hide" the columns/rows i'd like to secure then protect
the sheet, so the reader will not be able to unhide the columns/rows unless
he/she enters your password.
