Default Excel Formula Help take 2

Hello

Ive got some 'scores' to put into excel. For each score, a set number of
points is awarded.

Score - 0-5 - No Points
6-9 - 12 points
10-11 - 20 points
12+ - 25 Points

Ive been trying to get a formula to calculate the points and enter it in
a different cell.

Any Help?

Mark.

Range [A1:B4]:
0 No Points
6 12 Points
10 20 Points
12 25 Points

Range [C1]:
your actual score

Formula:
=VLOOKUP(C1,A1:B4,2)

or without additional tables:

Formula:
=INDEX({"No",12,20,25},MATCH(C1,{0,6,10,12}))&" Points"

another option via LOOKUP:

=LOOKUP(C1,A1:A4,B1:B4)

=LOOKUP(C1,{0,6,10,12},{"No",12,20,25})&" Points"
