Default Worksheet does not copy

I have tried to move and copy a worksheet but nothing happens using the right
click or the edit route. The workbook is not protected. I can insert new
worksheets. HELP!

Have you tried selecting everything (top left grey square block or CNTRL+A)
and then going to a new worksheet and going to A1 and pasting?

Does Excel allow you to select the worksheet, check the "Make Copy"
box and select the target workbook?

There are no obvious errors and i was able to move and copy in this workbook
before i deleted two tabs and left two undeleted (I had already inserted a
worksheet).

Yes it lets me do all this but does not actually copy and insert a worksheet.

Default Worksheet does not copy

on the chance there is a hidden macro
goto tools-options-security- macro security and select very high
close excel and open again the file with the problem you may be able to copy
it now.

another possible workaround is to go to a fresh sheet
in cell A1 enter
=problemworksheetname!A1
copy to cover the sheet size in the problem sheet.
You wont have the formating but you might have the data you can work with

Default Worksheet does not copy

also protecting worksheets is different from protecting the workbook the
sheet is in.
there are individual sheet macros which will keep them from being copied.
did you see anything when you right clicked on the tab and selected view Code?

There was a macro which i didn't recognise so i have used one of your
workarounds and started a new sheet. Thanks for the help.
