count pivot tables
My raw table has a bunch of text in it. When I go to pivot, it shows the
field to drag and drop, but when I drop it, it shows as "Count". If I try to change the field settings, it only allows me to change to another calc (SUM, etc) and none of the options leave it as the raw text. HELP! |

count pivot tables
A pivot table will show the text from text fields in the row, column or
page areas, but not in the data area. In the data area, it's summarized by count. Pivot Table doesn't like text wrote: My raw table has a bunch of text in it.
