This has been 'improved' in 2007. The name tools are on the formulas tab, defined name chunk. You can get the old style dialog by clicking define name, but if you want more control use the name manager -- HTH Nick Hodge Microsoft MVP - Excel Southampton, England DTHIS www.nickhodge.co.uk "Voyager" wrote in message ... You reckon?
You can always use Ctrl-F3 to get there, in 2003 and 2007, but I would use Jan Karel Pieterse's NameManger utility, a utility designed to improve working with defined names. It is a free add-in, and you can get it at http://www.jkp-ads.com/OfficeMarketPlaceNM-EN.asp -- HTH Bob Phillips (there's no email, no snail mail, but somewhere should be gmail in my addy) "Nick Hodge" wrote in message ...
