Default Conditional Format Row when Value Changes in One Cell

Ok, how to I put this to keep it simple. Alright, I am going to be hosting a
Halo 2 Tournament in about 2 months. To keep costs down I am using Access,
Excel, and PowerPoint to have a visually pleasing player board. Anyway, I
have linked the programs together to keep track of players information.
Access holds their personal info in one table as well as how a player is
progressing in another. That is linked to an Excel Workbook that shows the
progress. The workbook is linked to PowerPoint to automatically update when
the Excel file is update. Anyway, since PowerPoint shows any table
formatting you do in Excel, I though why not have some conditional
formatting. When a player is K.O.ed I click a button in Access that reads in
the table as Yes. Excel gets that info which in tern displays on PowerPoint.
What I want is whenever a player is K.O.ed it will look at the €œYes€ and
turn the select number of cells of that player 50% red pattern with a red
outline. Also, if however is reading this knows of a better way of going
about this that is free, just tell me. Of course help me with the excel
thing as well for others sake.
