Does Excel 2003 have a function to calculate how long money will last similar
to the following tool that I found online? Savings & Assumptions Input Current savings balance in dollars Proposed monthly withdrawal amounts in dollars Annual withdrawal increases (if any) in percent Annual before-tax return on savings in percent Federal marginal tax bracket in percent Desired amortization schedule set at monthly or yearly Even if what's available within Excel is not as comprehensive as above, it still would be helpful! This is a great example of what you use a whole spreadsheet for. You're
asking a complicated question and you should be modeling out the cash flows over time, and not relying on a function.
