Default #NAME? error associated with UDF

I have a shared workbook containing numerous formulas including UDFs.
Sometimes, but not always, when I open the shared workbook, those cells
containing a formula with a UDF show up with a #NAME? error. But as soon as
I select one of those cells and press the F2 key and then the Enter key, all
the #NAME? cells then display the results of the formula/UDF correctly!
Has anyone observed this strange behavior and/or can explain what causes it
and how to permanently fix it? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Bob
