It can be done using VBA code, but are you sure you want to have
blinking/flashing cells or text.

Slows down Excel, can't do much else while code is running and would annoy the
heck out of me.

I can't think of anything that would annoy me more within a spreadsheet, and
it would probably come across as very tacky.
