I am working with two databases. The first one is 6139 records that we have
already mailed brochures out to. The second one is 5300 +. I want to compare the second data base with the first and eliminate the duplicates in the second database. I have tried the duplicate elimination function in Excel but this does not give me the info. I need. Any ideas? Also...the supplier of the second data base put an apostrophe before the beginning of the text in each of the cells. Can they be eliminated simply with a function? Thanks! |

Follow this link:
http://www.asap-utilities.com/ for a wonderful freeware Excel add-in called ASAP Utilities that easily identifies duplicates and does about 300 other things easily.
