I would like to be able to create a reference or link in an
Excel header or footer that will look to a certain cell in several worksheets and pick up the data there. Say for example, I have a workbook with five worksheets and each worksheet has a different manager's name in cell A2. I want to be able to put a link or reference in the header or footer so that when the document is printed, each worksheet will have the correct manager's name. |

I would rename the tab for each worksheet with the managers name and then you
could use '&[Tab]' in the header or footer and this will display the worksheets name. eg if you rename the tab as 'Joe Bloggs' you could type in the header footer This is the report for &[Tab] and the header/footer will display when print previewed or printed This is the report for Joe Bloggs If you are not able to name the tabs on the worksheets for some reason then I reccomend Rons' suggestion Regards Oldersox (Geoff) "PTaylor" wrote: I would like to be able to create a reference or link in an Excel header or footer that will look to a certain cell in several worksheets and pick up the data there.
