Default How do I hide a sheet, that others will not be able to see it?

I have to send out an xls. to a lot of people, where I have a lot of
vlookups, functions etc. which goes to quite sensitive data. So I would like
to hide and protect with passwors these sheets in a way, that they do not see
them, is there any possibility for that?

Thank you

Petya,

You can protect the sheet, but not in such a way that people can't crack the password / protection
and see your sensitive data.

Bernie,

That is what I felt, so there is no way to achieve that they do not even see
the sheets? Becuase if they see those numbers is already bed:-)
Thx a lot

Petya,

You can hide the sheet (Format / Sheet... Hide) and protect the workbook with a password (Tools /
Protection / Protect Workbook), so that casual users won't see the numbers, but your numbers will
be there in the workbook, and a sophisticated user will be able to see them.

Ok, if a sophistacated user crak it, he can take it:-) But my problem is that
I do not want to protect the whole workbokk. Cause let's say, there is 7
sheets in my wbook, out of it, I want to keep 2 to be accessible 5to edit,
write etc....) to everybody, but I want to hide the 5 other in a way, that
they do not see them, and with the unhide either, just only with password. Is
it possible?
Thx really

Petya,

Yes, it is possible. Don't protect the worksheets that you want to have accessible. Protecting the
_workbook_ only protects the workbook's structure - hidden sheets, etc. The option to hide or
unhide a sheet will be greyed out when the workbook is protected.

Thanks Bernie, I thought that workbook protection still allows unhiding.
Thanks again
