Default Formula to identify what was NOT found

I use excel 2002.

I am currently using a sumproduct formula that adds up totals based on 2
criteria. One criteria is unique "ticket number" and the other is a static
"truck unit number".

I compare 2 sets of data on separate worksheets using this formula. What
sort of formula would I use that would alert me on WHICH (if any) ticket
number is missing. So I would need a formula that is based on the "truck
unit number" and compare to see if all the ticket numbers that were found on
one sheet, were also there on the other sheet, and returned the ticket
numbers that were missing.

I hope I explained this enough.

Hi Arla

check out
http://www.cpearson.com/excel/duplicat.htm

there's an article at the bottom on extracting a value on one list that
isn't on another.

Cheers
