Default Data Validation - Drop Down Box

Can a drop down box be created to allow for multiple selections within the
list.
Example: Sales, Finance, HR, R&D, Purchasing. Can Sales, HR and Purchasing
be selected.

If Yes, how do I create.

Thanks

You can do this with a data validation dropdown list and programming.
There's an example he

Under Data Validation, look for 'DV0017 - Select Multiple Items from
Dropdown List'

You could use event code to do the job.

Debra Dalgleish has a sample workbook download with code.

Scroll down the page and "Select Mulitple
Items from a drop down list"
