Default I need to get the formula in one cell as text into another cell.

Ineed to copy the formula (reference to a cell in another spreadsheet) as
text into another cell and use the reference as a offset point.

It seems as if you want to copy a formula in one cell to another cell, but as
text? Select the cell containing the formula. Block the text in the formula
bar, press <Ctrl<C. Now go to the cell where you want it to appear as
text. In the formula bar, enter an apostrophe "'", and then press <CtrL<V.

Not at all clear what you further want though!
