TNMAN,
Take a look at Excel's LINEST and TREND worksheet functions. This Microsoft site explains how to perform a regression analysis: http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/as...119631033.aspx ---- Regards, John Mansfield http://www.pdbook.com "TNMAN" wrote: Is there a way to compute a least squares analysis for a series of data in excel 2003. For situations that LINEST cannot handle you can use Solver to do a
least-squares fit. Do you wish to tell us more about the problem? best wishes -- Bernard V Liengme www.stfx.ca/people/bliengme remove caps from email "TNMAN" wrote in message ... Is there a way to compute a least squares analysis for a series of data in excel 2003. Thanks in advance for any help. |
