Default Least Squares Analysis

Is there a way to compute a least squares analysis for a series of data in
excel 2003. Thanks in advance for any help.

Take a look at Excel's LINEST and TREND worksheet functions.

For situations that LINEST cannot handle you can use Solver to do a
least-squares fit.
