I had 40 rows of data and deleted the last 20 of them using right-click
delete. When I use the CTRL+END keyboard shortcut, it still brings me to the 40th row, even though it's blank. I've already tried selecting the last 20 rows and clearing the contents (thinking that the formatting may still be there causing the problem) but it didn't do the trick. Any ideas?? Thanks. |

Joanna, sounds like you need to reset the last cell
See Debra Dalgleish's suggestions for resetting the Used Range: http://www.contextures.com/xlfaqApp.html#Unused -- Paul B Always backup your data before trying something new Please post any response to the newsgroups so others can benefit from it Feedback on answers is always appreciated! Clearing contents will not do the trick. Select the rows and EditDeleteEntire Row. Now.........important step.........Save the workbook to reset the used range.
