Default CTRL + END moves to the blank cell where data used to be

Joanna, sounds like you need to reset the last cell

See Debra Dalgleish's suggestions for resetting the Used Range:

Using Excel 2002 & 2003

I had 40 rows of data and deleted the last 20 of them using right-click
delete. When I use the CTRL+END keyboard shortcut, it still brings me to

the
40th row, even though it's blank. I've already tried selecting the last

20
rows and clearing the contents (thinking that the formatting may still be
there causing the problem) but it didn't do the trick. Any ideas??

Thanks.
