Default Excell 2003 Charts

I am trying to set up a stacked column chart to detail ages and sexes of our
members using percentages on the y axis with age groups on the x. I am trying
to break up the columns into male and female so I have selected 4 columns of
cells to be included in the chart calculations.

When I enter the formula or actual percentages in the second column of my
selected chart area I get some crazy numbers on the y going up to 16000%

If I remove the actual percentages I get the raw number of people in that
age bracket.

Any advice?
