How can I use sumif when I want to meet two criteria?

I'm guessing you have 2 criteria in 2 different columns?

A1 = criteria1
A2 = criteria2

=SUMPRODUCT(--(B1:B10=A1),--(C1:C10=A2),D1:D10)

Sums D where B = A1 and C = A2
