Default Dividing hours to give days

Hi all

I have a worksheet that is successfully taking a start and end time and
showing the hours worked (with hours worked formatted [h]:mm:ss). It then
uses a SumIf to separate the time spent on different tasks over several days
- currently using the same formatting and (for example) stored in cell H2 for
a particular task

I want to divide this total time for each task by 7.5 to equate to days and
show in cell I2, but (for example) 9:00:00 hours divided by 7.5 shows as 0.05
days rather than 1.2 days.

Do I need to use something other than H2/7.5 to divide? And/or is there a
particular formatting I should use to show the result correctly?

Many thanks

Do this: =9:00:00/7.5*24
