Finding a vlookup table
Excuse my ignorance, but I have been given an Excel workbook by a
friend which I would like to use to keep track of my work expenses, but I can't find the lookup table to alter the data such as car reg, fuel price etc. I have tried the "find" function, inputting some data which the table uses, with no result. I have tried looking through all of the visible cells in the spreadsheets that the workbook is composed of. I have taken the protection off the workbook and off the individual sheets, but obviously the thing is hiding somewhere I haven't looked. The line below is a formulae from the spreadsheet that refers to the vlookup table if that is any help? =VLOOKUP(Data!E1,Data!E6:I45,5,FALSE) Any ideas greatfully received |

Your table is on the sheet named Data in cells E6 to I45.
Hope this helps. Finding a vlookup table
It's conceivable that the columns your looking for are "hidden".........from
the toolbar of EXCEL select Format, Columns, "Unhide" and see if Columns E through I appear in the "Data" worksheet.
