Default Can I use a macro to autofilter in excel

I have a list of work completed over a 24 hour period. I need to filter out
all work completed each hour. I have used autofilter, but at present need to
use this function for every different hour, if i use a macro, the subtotal
changes to the filter I'm inputting. Can i use a macro to perform this
tedious task?
