Default compare and combine data with in one workbook

I have two sheets of data within one workbook. Sheet 2 provides control
numbers that I need to see on sheet 1. I would be using a column "Ticket
Number" where the values in sheet 1 and sheet 2 are the same. I do I pull
the contol numbers into sheet 1?

Your question is a bit vague and light on detail, but it sounds as if
VLOOKUP or an INDEX/MATCH combination will give you what you want. Post
back with further detail of what you have if you need more help.
