Hi,
if using INDEX to return an array (the row is an array), then you need to enter it as an array formula. For example, if your data has 4 columns, select A20:D20, enter the formula: =INDEX(A1:D10,2,) commit with Shift+Ctrl+Enter. Now, all cells A20:D20 will contain the 2nd row of A1:D10. Does this help?
