Your example obviously shows the present value of 4 annual payments of
12,000 money units (starting today), discounted at 5%:

=-12000*SUMPRODUCT((1+5%)^-(ROW(INDIRECT("1:4"))-1))

[The numbers behind year 4 are just sums of the numbers above, as it
seems]
