I have a lengthy licst of names I need to use for a mail merge. The first
names are seperated from the last, that's great. however, many of the

first
names have a mibddle initial and some have a period following the initial.

Is
there a way I can remove the last 2 characters of a string? I don't want

the
initilals included in the merge.
Examples of the list:
Marvin P.
Mary R
etc.
Thanks.
