i need to remove figures from a cell in a already formated spreadsheet but i
don't want to remove the formulas. can someone refresh me on how to do this? |

signature, try, edit, goto, special, constants, ok delete

CTRL + a(twice in 2003) to select all.
F5SpecialConstants. Hi Gord D,
Thanks for this help, this did remove the data w/o removing the formulas but it did insert a #DIV/0 error in each cell. "Gord Dibben" wrote: CTRL + a(twice in 2003) to select all. F5SpecialConstants. Select the Constants to find....numbers? and OK EditClearContents |

In that case, you will have to re-write those formulas to trap the error and
produce a result like 0 or blank.
