why do zeros after decimals drop out of excel
I'm doing a spread sheet with dollar values in excel worksheet. Each time the
dollar value ends in one or two zeros after the decimal the zeros drop out as I move to the next cell. Why? |

Reformat your cells. Highlight the cells you want as currency. Right-click
and goto 'Format Cells'. On the 'Number' tab, select 'Currency'. You can then set the number of dicimal places. "Bc Curious" <Bc wrote in message ... Did you format the cell for 2 decimals? If you go to Format/Cells/ on the
number tab select Currency. It defaults to 2 decimals, you can add more if needed - you can also select to show the $ or not. Once you format the Column(s) you shouldn't have any problem...
