I am using Excel2003. I have created a names range of cells that contain
symbols. I want to use data validation to force use of these symbols in other cells. When used the data validation drop down list appears as Unicode characters rather than the associated symbols although once a character is selected the cell is actually filled with the associated symbol. How can I get the symbols to appear in the drop down list rather than the associated Unicode characters? |
