Default Problems with MAX

Hi all

got a problem with the MAX statement:
have a range with let's say 20 cells.
Each cell has a formula, which either produces
a Number or "". If i want to get the Maximum
out of this range, i only get a #N/A :(
does anyone know, how i still can get the Maximum
of all numbers in that range?

Thanks for your Help

Carlo
