I'm not sure that the other posts are right. The following gives the same
results as posted. =IF(A1&B1=B1&A1,B3&A3,A3&B3) By the way, do you need a 19" screen these days to reply to long posts? The reply screen has no scrollbars and I can't get to the reply button. Am I missing something Peter |

I don't know if you wanted to address my post called INDEX MATCH CONCATENATE but I found it a bit strange that you had to write a new post rather than replying to mine.
